No One Can Make You Unhappy.

The person that deserves you is the one that approaches you on their own, appreciates you and dedicates their time and thoughts to you.

The most powerful tool for fighting emotional injustice and indifference is self-determination.

This should be followed by a sense of healthy self-esteem self-knowledge and reflecting on feelings, desires and your own and others’ behavior.

What you really need to handle the pain of false love is to deal with it and walk away with the understanding that it hurts because what we really want is someone to love us and the other person probably doesn’t care or love us back.

Thanks For Reading

I really find a lot of deep thinking in your blogs. This one did make me see the mistakes I have made in the past in how I handled love situations. I know I am stronger for what it taught me now. Thank you !!

I once answered a question back in college (second career—teaching) that I believed to be true. The question was, “whats the most important thing you can do to help your students?” I didn’t hesitate to answer from the heart, “Love them.” She asked me to elaborate so I added, If you love them, you will satisfy their basic need, and steer them in the right way towards success whereby you have their best interests at heart. You will empower them to want to learn from their mistakes instead of fall victim to them, and you will give them the greatest gift in helping them reach their potential. The Professor liked my answer very much and was satisfied with it until another person had a rebuttal with hostile remarks. I offended her. She argued that being a lifelong learner was the absolute most important thing you could do for your students. She was threatened by me, and later we worked in the same school! She was caught gossiping about me to another teacher on the first day of orientation after introductions, and suffered severe loss and tragic experiences throughout the coming years that we worked together. Do you know what I accomplished in my time there? I showed her love. I prayed for her and they were helpful. She must have sensed all of this because she changed her feelings towards me completely. I still stand by my original claim, Love is all we need. (Beatles, you got it right in your song)

What we truly want is to be loved, to be seen and to be heard. Do you love me, do you see me and do you hear me? I believe that once we love ourselves we can truly see when someone doesn’t. And have courage to walk away from toxic relationships. Lovely post! 😊

    What an amazing statement.

You wouldn’t have expected this, probably, but I’m going to read this piece to my 7 year old – who is having troubles making friends at school. I think it might help him. Thank you for sharing it!

Все начинается от любви к себе, как и самооценка.
А с людьми, которые нас не любят, вообще нельзя общаться. Нужно их выбрасывать из жизни.
